“Coriolano” by Tanghalang Pilipino Leads Gawad Buhay’s Mid-Year Citations

Gawad Buhay, the country’s recognition for performing arts have released their mid-year citations. Only shows produced by members of Philstage, the country’s alliance for performing arts companies, are eligible for citation and eventual nomination for the 12th Gawad Buhay Awards next year.

For the first half of 2019, only 6 shows were eligible for citations: The Sandbox Collective’s “Every Brilliant Thing”, Philippine Educational Theater Association’s “Charot”, Tanghalang Pilipino’s “Coriolano”, and Repertory Philippine’s early-year offerings– “Miong”, “Father’s Day”, and “The Dresser”.
