After a much-needed break, Ballet Manila Artistic Director Lisa Macuja-Elizalde takes center stage in “BM 21” on March 19, 2016, 8:00 p.m. at Aliw Theater.
“The play tells a spinoff story of King Lears’ three daughters: Gonerila, Regania and Cordelia, longing for the love from their parents but given the wrong affection by their father. Prisoners in their own home, they do not know where to go.”
“The production features 4 plays in 1 show that were written by students of the 20th Palanca Hall of Fame Awardee, Sir Nicholas Pichay and directed by the Guild’s very own student-artists.”
“Dulaang UP’s The Dressing Room, directed by Alexander Cortez with a Filipino translation by Nicolas Pichay, will feature two sets of actors for English and Filipino Versions.”
Who are you rooting for? 🙂
